CONDITIONS OF BOOKING

All accommodation is offered subject to availability at time of receipt of payment details or deposit and at the tariffs applicable.

Cancellations or curtailment made in excess of seven days prior to the arrival day will not incur any charges. Cancellations or curtailment made within seven days, or non arrival, will result in a full charge of the room(s) and refund any nights that are re-let. Cancellations can only be accepted by post in the form of recorded delivery or contacting Reception by email and obtaining a cancellation reference.

Arrival is post 14:00 and we would ask if you would let us know of a particularly late arrival. Rooms must be vacated by 11:00 on day of departure.

We require credit or debit card details to secure your reservation. No payment is charged to the card until departure. Guests are required to make payment on check out and can use alternative methods. However, we reserve the right to act upon taking payment should charges occur in any cancellation or curtailment as outlined above. Alternatively, we can accept a cheque to the value of the first night's stay. The balance of the account should be paid on departure. For group bookings, we reserve the right to charge a deposit when reserving.

For bookings over the New Year break, we require a non-refundable non-transferrable deposit payment of 50% of the total price of accommodation at the time of making your booking. This is to ensure that we have confirmed bookings rather than customer holding rooms seven days prior to the New Year break.

Should a reservation need to be cancelled due to external factors (e.g. cancelled flights, delayed trains), we advise customers to consult their travel insurance for reimbursement of any cancellation fees.

The proprietors reserve the right to amend, curtail or terminate any contract should the conduct of any person who is party to that contract cause any detriment to the well being of other guests or the staff.

We reserve the right to charge for any damages that occur during the stay; for example red wine spillages or food grease stains on bedding.

The Riverside reserves the right to change the tariff charges at anytime and will notify guests prior to their arrival. The Riverside has the right to change or withdraw special offers at any time. All special offers are subject to availability and fair usage. Additional terms and conditions for individual offers can be found below.

Please note that our four course breakfast is not served on Christmas Day or New Year's Day and rates are room only. Please telephone Reception for details.

We are members of Q-Alert, who maintain a database of information about guests whose behaviour is unacceptable. We may share your information with members of the Q-Alert and this may result in our members refusing to accept bookings from you in the future.

SPECIAL OFFERS

The BIG January sale

This offer is available when staying throughout January 2012 based on two people sharing. Single night supplements will apply.

This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount being run for accommodation or the restaurant or when booking with a third party agent (e.g. booking.com).

Valentine's Package

This offer is available only available on the stipulated nights and excludes any other dining offers or discounts including the £10 off when dining and the winter dining club.

£10 off when dining

When dining in the restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night from 1 November 2011 until 31 March 2012, a £10.00 deduction for each nights dining. Winter weekend breaks exclude Christmas, New Year Bank Holidays and Valentines weekend.

The evening restaurant will be open Friday and Saturday evenings during this period.

Winter Dining Club

You will need to bring your card with you on each subsequent visit in order to qualify for any complimentary items or meals. Reservations are essential. Dining Club run from 1st November until 31st March each year and exclude Christmas, New Year, Bank Holidays and Valentine’s and Easter Day/Weekends. Dining Club is only valid for the evening restaurant and therefore excludes daytime and Carvery menu items. Dining Club is only valid when purchasing a minimum of two courses each from the evening menu. Dining Club can only be redeemed in the order as shown on the card. We reserve the right to amend, curtail or cancel the Dining Club at any time. Dining Club card can only be used by the same holder in each transaction. Dining Club cannot be used with any other offer in the restaurant or accommodation.

There are a vast amount of search engines, travel websites and regional tourist sites that collect tariff information, special offers and literature from our website. We update our website regularly to ensure that we are communicating the correct information at the time of print. As third party websites are unable to syncronise with ours, we cannot be held responsible for any mis-information that may be collected from any third party site.
