For a formal affair with the evening restaurant setup elegantly for a superb dining experience, you can choose from our à la carte menu with exceptional food complemented by an extensive list of fine wines. Alternatively, the daytime tearoom is perfect for informal lunches, meals and afternoon teas. Leading from the dining room is access to our exclusive tea garden next to the running waters of the River Valency.
The Riverside is situated alongside the River Valency in Boscastle, one of the picturesque parts of North Cornwall in the Southwest which is nationally recognised as being wonderful for its scenic quality. The Riverside was built around 1584 by Sir Richard Grenville of the Armada fame. We are located just off of the South West coastal path and ideally suited for those walking between Bude, Crackington Haven, Tintagel and Port Isaac.
